Does Katy Perry have a secret past?

Looking at Katy Perry today, you'd never imagine that the glam singer actually grew up in a super conservative house. In fact, Katy's parents were incredibly old fashioned, which sometimes made her feel different from her friends. At one point, Katy's mom even started entering her in child beauty pageants. "She put me in one or two of those things," shares Katy. Since she felt her childhood was different, Katy wasn't always so open about her past. But today, Katy's proud she went from dork to diva! "I can't run from where I came from," says Katy. "Nobody can."
