Is My Life As Liz Real?

On the MTV show, cameras perfectly time "spontaneous" calls from Liz Lee to her BFF Sully. Off camera, kids from Liz's hometown of Burleson, TX, blogged that a few scenes weren't even filmed in Burleson. All that makes My Life As Liz feel scripted but MTV never claimed that it's a reality show. They say it's "based on the real life experiences" of Liz and she agrees. "The show is pretty dead on when it comes to portraying my life accurately," Liz says.
