Sure, Michael Cera was hilarious in Superbad and adorable in Juno and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, but it was his nationality that really gave him the edge in winning the title role in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. The film's director admits that he loved Michael's "laid-back" Canadian sense of humor and, since the Scott Pilgrim comic books were created by a Canadian, he just knew that Michael would be the perfect fit for the lovestruck action hero.
