Did BTR invent their silly band for J-14?

While I was hanging with Carlos Pena at Big Time Rush' J-14 photo shoot, we were chatting about his silly bands and all of a sudden I saw a light bulb go off in his head. "We should make BTR silly bands!" Carlos screamed. He immediately grabbed a green napkin and started drawing what the bands should look like and labeled it, "The Future of Silly Bands." Fast forward a few months later to J-14's InTune concert with BTR. When I went to say hi to them, Carlos ran up to me and said, "They're making BTR silly bands!" I'm expecting my thank you note any day now, boys!
