Did Maia almost not get the part as Mack in Teen Beach Movie?

It's hard to imagine the Teen Beach movies without Maia Mitchell as Mack, but that was almost the case! "Auditioning in front of the heads of Disney Channel and singing for them was the most daunting thing I've ever done," Maia shares of her TB audition. She was sure she didn't get the role. "Everything happened so quickly, I didn't have time to take it all in," she admits. "I'm surprised they liked me. But glad it worked out!"
