When 1D accepted their moon man for "Song of the Summer" at this year's VMAs, some of the audience started booing them! However, they found an unexpected fan in Lady Gaga, who was so disgusted by the booing that she bolted out of her seat and ran backstage to cheer them up. "I just want to tell you that you deserve every bit of success that you have," Gaga assured them. And then, when the rest of 1D headed back to their seats, Niall hung out a little longer so the two could chat more! He even attended her concert a few days later in London! Aww!
