Austin beat Ariana!

Uh-oh! Did two of our favorite popstars battle it out? Yes, but don't worry it wasn't personal at all! Austin Mahone and Ariana Grande were both nominated for "Artist on the Rise" at the MTV EMAs, and the battle for the win was so close! Fans voted on twitter, Instagram and Vine using different hashtags for their favorite artist. Austin came out on top with 14,538,518 votes, and Ariana hit a close second with 14,277,376 votes! Who else did Austin take down? Cher Lloyd, Cody Simpson, Lorde, and Bridget Mendler.
