Is David Archuleta going on Glee?

David Archuleta got his start on American Idol, so it seems fitting that he would be the perfect star for a role on Glee. Since Glee is no stranger to casting popular celebs (and David's BFF Charice will return to the show for five to seven more episodes), fans are wondering if David will finally get his turn to be a guest star. He's a fan of the show and wants to act. "It would be fun to [be on Glee]," he says. "It's cool to put yourself in someone else's shoes and kind of live another life for a little bit. All I've really done is guest appearances as myself, and I would like to try something a little more challenging." Although David is interested in joining the musical comedy, there is no deal in place for him to become a Gleek... just yet.
