Did The Wanted pretend to be 1D?

On the red carpet at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, a reporter mistook the guys for One Direction! But instead of correcting her, they decided to play along and pretend they were Liam, Niall, Harry, Louis and Zayn! they said things like, "The Wanted are the coolest band in the world. Amazing. I've actually met them and they are really, really cool!" Louis thought it was so funny that he even tweeted about it!
