When Rob was spotted crashing a wedding rehearsal in Montecito, California, with gal pal Katy Perry, rumors swirled that Katy was the real reason for the breakup. Say what?! Not true. Here's what really happened: Katy and Rob have been friends for a very long time. When she divorced Russell Brand in 2012, Rob helped her get through the awful breakup. Katy helps Rob with his relationship struggles, too. She wasn't trying to steal Rob from Kristen, she was just looking out for her friend. "Rob and Katy are just very similar people, and she adores him, as a friend. She just wants to be there for him as a mate," a source close to Rob spills. "They are super good friends. There is nothing romantic in it."
