Does Taylor Swift throw out her fan mail?

When a concerned Nashville woman found hundreds of fan letters addressed to Taylor Swift in a dumpster, she wondered if Taylor had just tossed away her fan mail without even looking at it. But of course, that couldn't be further from the truth. "Taylor gets thousands of fan letters every day," says a rep for the singer. "After they're opened and read, they are recycled. The only explanation for any letters being unopened would be that a small batch to Taylor was accidentally put with letters headed for the recycled center."
